JAN KARLTON

Jan Karlton’s (1939-1997) vibrant work, often edged with dark humor, provokes and illuminates. Her untimely death left behind a legacy that’s only touched upon here. A soon-to-be released documentary (preview coming soon) was filmed and photographed by Jennifer Fey (interviewer, videographer, photographer, editor) with celebrity photographer Michael Collopy, and co-produced by the Branner Spangenberg Gallery with the cooperation of Jan Karlton’s son, David Karlton.
